And poor drainage then leads to rotten wood and plant roots. This innovative barrel planter from VegTrug® keeps the traditional aesthetic we love, but adds a vented polypropylene base that not only promotes drainage but also allows water to wick up thorough the soil from the saucer reservoir. Crafted from sustainably sourced Forestry Stewardship Council-certified wood.
